Retails stocks are going through it with Walmart lowering their guidance. They are saying buyers have evaporated and inflation has ballooned their operating costs. I’m closely monitoring this situation as the Fed is expected to hike rates another 75 basis points this week. Unemployment is still very low but if companies start seeing a slowing of demand, layoffs will follow.
